21/12/12 – President Dilma Rousseff attended this afternoon the event of inauguration of the Governor Magalhães Pinto Stadium, the famous Mineirão, which will host the matches of the Confederations Cup in 2013 and the World Cup in 2014. After the ceremony, the stadium will be open for visits. The modernization can be seen in the 80 thousand m2 on the outside area, the new panoramic restaurant, cabins, luxurious locker rooms, high-definition screens and new coverage. To end the festival, the band Jota Quest will do a concert to celebrate the return of our beloved stadium!
