A new phase of the duplication of the Pelotas Road Contour (RS) is about to be completed. The stretch of almost 30 kilometers between BR-116 and BR-392 already has a bridge, eight viaducts ready and another 99% of the area was asphalted.
At the peak of the activities, Hap Engenharia reached 600 professionals in this work. Currently drainage, paving and containment services are carried out.
The area is expected to be delivered in May. One of the challenges is the climate of the region, the incidence of rains is often an obstacle to the execution of the works.
The Contorno de Pelotas is a claim of communities in the southern part of the state and is improving the connection with BR-392, which connects the city to the port of Rio Grande, and facilitates the displacement in a region full of
road junctions. Pelotas has exits for the center of the State, for the region of the Campaign and also for other cities of the South, like Jaguarão and Canguçu.
